Duties Description
The Material Control Supervisor(s) will be responsible for providing logistics support for their respective sites. These responsibilities will include financial reporting/forecasting, policy/procedure compliance, NAVAIR liaison, L-3 Vertex procurement liaisons, Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL) tailoring, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) generation, property control (GFE and company owned), inventory reporting (DD xxxx), PMO interface, and vendor monitoring. Duties will also include:
Tool Room/Property Control
Warehouse functions
Material Control/Aeronautical Material Screening Unit (AMSU) upkeep
Experience
Ten years base/installation level supply experience within the last 15 years; three (3) of the 10 years shall have been in a supervisory capacity. This supply experience may be gained in activities such as a squadron, base, depot, or as an item manager
Experience in, and capable of, managing supply functions such as: storage, issue, inspection, research, repairable processing, shipping, receiving, warehousing, aircraft maintenance support, preparing MILSTRIP requisitions, and accounting for aircraft parts and equipment as per FAR Part 45
Experience coordinating requirements submitted by the sites providing interface to the Fleet Support Team and Program Office as applicable
Experience in maintaining and updating aircraft data collection systems files
Demonstrated capability using automated information systems (computers) including NALCOMIS
Skills
Familiarity with Navy/USAF logistics support procedures used to support material requirements
Knowledge of, and the ability to, initiate surveys, validate NMSC/PMCS status, inventory aircraft, and perform budget accounting
Leadership and management skills directing assigned personnel complying with established policies, procedures, and operations throughout the organization
Ability to communicate accurately and concisely on technical matters, orally and in writing
