And the handle is assembled with superior offset Torx fasteners.The handle is slightly heftier and wider than the aluminum build M16, but it is exceptionally rigid. To some people, it actually fills the hand better.Tough AUS 4 high carbon stainless steel is used for the blades to give greater everyday utility. All models feature the Carson Flipper, which is not only an aid to opening the blade, especially when wearing gloves, but acts as a blade guard when the blade is open. The M16-02Z and 12Z are tough little bulldogs, with dual grind Tanto-style blades.Incorporated is the patented Lake And Walker Knife Safety (LAWKS) into all models, which converts these folders into virtual fixed blades when engaged.
