I'm a rock, hard rock guitarist by choice but play most genres of music with equal ease. My influences include Eric Clapton, Ritchie Blackmore, Al Demeola, Uli Jon Roth, John Petrucci, among others. You can say that I love lead guitar. . .I can take a simple music theme and convert it to an experience for your audience including the musicians in the band.
I enjoy playing most music that has epic leads, positive energy, aggressive rhythms, danceable themes, and captures the mood of the moment, whatever the moment.
I have excellent equipment/ rig for "ANY" venue that is requires a certain sound level including, Mesa Boogie Mark V and Cabs, Fractal Axe-FX, TC Electronic, Digital Music Corp, Dunlop Custom Shop, Furman, EVH, Music Man, Ibanez, ESP, Jackson and others. I have PA equipment and have a solid background in sound reinforcement and have worked as a FOH engineer in a past life.
I'm about the music and wanting it to sound and feel right, not only for the band, but the paying audience who wants to be entertained, and an escape from the mundane status quo cover band. I love the studio and the creative process. . .so I'm open to playing...anywhere. . ..period.
I am interested in nearly complete bands needing just a lead or lead/rhythm guitarist at this time and not partial projects unless you need a guitarist to record for your project.
