BC/BE General Surgeon sought to establish a 'bread and butter' general surgery practice in our Southwest Arizona community as we continue to expand services. Multiple practice options exist, including solo/private practice, or the option to join an already established practice with one of our highly respected and successful surgeons. OR Block scheduling available ER call 1:7 with paid stipend Low trauma volume No endoscopy/colonoscopy required The right candidate would be the 7th general surgeon in the community and would receive full support of others in this specialty, as well as hospital administration andand the overall medical staff, including in-house Intensivists and Hospitalists. Addiitonally, 24 hour on-call Gastroenterology and Interventional Radiology services are available. Yuma Regional Medical Center is a 406 bed acute care facility, hosting 17 surgical suites, including inpatient, outpatient, women's surgical and a hybrid OR suite. Within these OR suites, more than 10,000 surgeries are performed each year, across a wide range of specialties. Yuma is located 170 miles (either direction) from San Diego, CA and Phoenix, AZ on the banks of the Colorado River, where recreation abounds due to our abundant sunshine and locale.
